“When I was young, I always used think having a higher degree from university will set me up for successful life, but nothing went as I planned. In my journey I learnt that the obstacles you face in your life and the lessons you get out of it is what sets you up. In the last 10 years I have worked as a Receptionist and Administrator, First Aid Trainer, Educator, Sales Consultant and Construction Draftsperson. At Tradeswomen Australia as Apprenticeship Engagement Officer, I provide community outreach and career information to women and girls who have an interest in Trades. I have great passion in empowering women and young girls to take ownership of their life.”
